Personal
Family Fund Offers Simple, Effective Way to Give
Have
you ever wished your family could operate its own charitable
foundation to benefit causes that are important to you? You
can, and it's easier than you may realize. Setting up a Personal
Family Fund through the Catholic Community Foundation is
a little like operating your own foundation. You can set
up a fund for as little as $10,000 (or $5,000 per year for
two years), and then you can make up to ten grants per year
to any charitable organization whose programs are not in
conflict with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Mike
and Nancy Meyer, members of All Saints parish in Mesa established
a Personal Family Fund last year that they use to support
their parish, the CDA, and other ministries they choose.
As Mike explained, "From a tax standpoint, I love having
only one organization that can control all the donations
and provides me with the year-end statement. I also use it
to quickly dispatch telemarketers that are seeking donations
by telling them that all our donations are handled by our
foundation." To read more about the Meyers' Personal
Family Fund, click

own Personal Family Fund, contact Tom Thieken, Director of

Crozier
Dinner Reservations Can Now Be Made Online
Tony
Orlando of "Tie A Yellow Ribbon" fame will be the

will take place on Saturday, April 16th at the Camelback
Inn, an A JW Marriott Resort in Paradise Valley. If
you live in the Arcadia, Biltmore or Paradise Valley areas,
you may have seen a half-page ad showcasing the event in

How
Would A Gift Annuity Benefit You?

is enter a few simple variables such as the age and income
tax rate of the annuitant, and within moments you will be
