Communications Grant Criteria:
In the area of communications, the Catholic Community Foundation seeks to fund programs that utilize various media to promote the Gospel message. Special consideration is given to programs that demonstrate the ability to become self-sustaining.
General Grant Requirements:
- Applicants must be a registered 501(c)(3) charity in Arizona.
- Grant recipients or an agency representative must be present at the Grants Reception in the Fall in order to receive the grant.
- Grant recipients must submit a letter of acknowledgement for grant funds received to the Catholic Community Foundation to be shared with its Board of Directors, Grants Committee, and others.
- Grant recipients must consent to signing a photo/video release.
Communications Grant-Specific Requirements:
- Applicants must provide a current list of the organization’s Board of Directors (or Advisory Board, Pastoral Council, or Finance Council as applicable), including addresses, with their applications.
- Applicants must submit a copy of their IRS 501(c)(3) designation (not required for Catholic schools, parishes or Diocesan offices) and Program/Project budget, including income and expenses, with their applications.
- Grant recipients awarded over $5,000 are required to send an interim report to the Catholic Community Foundation stating how the grant has been of benefit to their organization and how the funds are being allocated or applied.
- Grant recipients must submit receipts to the Catholic Community Foundation for purchases made or services completed, resulting from grant funding, at completion of program/project.
Please Note For All Grants:
- Requests for funding of salaries and capital improvements do not qualify for grant monies.
- Due to the finite amount of grant monies available, not all proposals can be funded.
- Funding in the past does not guarantee continued funding.
- Lack of funding in the past does not indicate that funding will not be possible in future years.
HOW TO APPLY:
- Grant applications are in MS Word format, and are designed to be filled out on your computer, then printed for signature and submission. Alternatively, you may save the application on your computer hard drive and open it in MS Word to fill in at a later time.
- Applications must be typed. Handwritten applications will not be accepted.
- Applications must be signed by the applicant AND the Pastor or Program Supervisor.
- Completed application packets may be submitted in one of the following ways:
- Mail completed and signed application and required documentation, postmarked by November 15th to:
