We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for laughter and nostalgia this summer! We are collaborating with Mesa Arts Center to help promote the hilarious and interactive show "Late Nite Catechism" from August 2 through September 1. Imagine Loretta Young meets Carol Burnett in this one-of-a-kind performance that blends catechism class with stand-up comedy. You, the audience, become part of Sister's class as she humorously takes you back to the days of Latin Mass, meatless Fridays, and perhaps the occasional ruler across the knuckles. Click here and use the promo code ROSARY to get 25% off tickets to any of the shows.

In the biblical story of Joseph (Genesis 41), through God’s divine grace, Joseph was able to sustain Egypt not just through planning but by saving harvest for Egypt’s future use (and even for its neighboring countries). Today many parishes, schools, and nonprofit organizations are operating for ministry today, but what about tomorrow?
The Catholic Community Foundation (CCF) helps deliver requested items in need to local parishes, schools, and nonprofits through an online giving platform. "We're helping our local nonprofits modify the way they support their communities," said Deacon James Carabajal, CEO at the CCF. "The Christmas season provides a great way for locals to show support to organizations that help the neediest members in our community. The pandemic's social restrictions have made it difficult for some nonprofits to communicate their need and has created uncertainty for donors on how they can maximize their charitable dollars. CCF is proud to have found a way to foster safe and simple giving during the Holy season."

We, at the Catholic Community Foundation, truly believe in the revelation this message states. As the "Giving Season" quickly approaches, we reflect on the past year's unique challenges but give thanks for the many blessings we still have. As I was driving down the street last week, I turned the radio on and was surprised to hear Christmas songs playing. I immediately began to smile, listening to the lyrics of "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year". That feeling lasted only for a brief moment, as I came to a stop at an intersection and watched a family cross, all wearing surgical facemasks. I then looked over to my left and saw a man holding a sign that read, "lost my job, anything helps". I immediately thought, "Lord, how can this be the most wonderful time of the year?"
