The Catholic Community Foundation is called to help the many front-line agencies within our community fulfill their missions. We strive to be the "servant of servants" in our Diocese by bridging the gap between faithful philanthropists and those most in need.

In the fall of 2020, The Catholic Community Foundation partnered with ShopForACause, an online giving platform designed to help promote the tangible needs of our local parishes, schools, and nonprofit agencies. The program was called Digital Giving Tree, and it was set up much like the physical Giving Trees located in Parish lobbies during Christmas time. CCF reached out to various organizations within our community to ask for their participation. Organizations then submitted a list of needs that were preloaded into the portal.

Last year CCF, through the partnership of the ShopForACause Program, completed over $32,000 and 600 items purchased for participating organizations in need!

The Giving Circle is an innovative program inspired by a new generation of donors. The program is unique, as each member is an active participant in the community grant-making process. The members cast a vote in the grant-awarding and have an opportunity to connect with grant recipients. 

MILLION DOLLAR MATCH extended!

We have seen a significant increase in financial need within our local community, especially during these exceptional times. In an effort to respond to these needs, while partnering with the generosity of our donors, the Foundation has designated $1 million dollars to be applied towards matched contributions from individuals. Now with our *extended* Match program, new gifts will be matched at 25% for new contributions made to any parish, school, or non-profit endowment that the Foundation manages. Join us in creating, supporting, and maintaining a fruitful community.

The Perpetual Light Society was created to honor our legacy donors who have named the Catholic Community Foundation as a beneficiary in their will or trust, retirement account, charitable gift annuity, or life insurance policy.

The Foundation is grateful to acknowledge these special benefactors during their lifetimes. And, in conjunction with our mission, this special society provides an opportunity for benefactors to make their philanthropy a perpetual legacy for themselves and an example for their families. It also creates a foundation of support that makes our parishes, schools, and nonprofits stronger, sustainable, and better equipped to reach future generations.
